  1. Founding of the Graute GmbH

    1997

    The Graute GmbH was founded in 1997 in Coesfeld by Horst Graute, former head of development for Air-Lay machines at Hergeth Hollingsworth. Together with former employees of Hergeth Hollingsworth a globally successful and now leading company was established.

  2. First production line

    2001

    Production and commissioning of the first production line (Air Lay line) under the name Graute.

  3. Takeover by Norbert Höltker

    2009

    In 2009 the company was taken over by Norbert Höltker, the head of construction at Graute GmbH at that time. With Mr. Höltker, our company is managed by an expert who can draw on extensive theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of nonwoven engineering.

  4. Development of the CMO-W2

    2013

    Development of the new mixing system CMO-W2 for the continuous, precise mixing of several fiber components.

  5. New location

    2015

    Since October 2015 our company is based in Senden - Bösensell. The company premises comprise an office space of 1050 m² and a production hall of 2300 m². Here the complete product range of the Graute GmbH is designed, planned and manufactured for our customers all over the world.

  6. Development of the carding opener

    2016

    Development of the carding opener CO for the (re) opening of heavily solidified materials.

  7. Founding of Graute Lux S.à.r.l.

    2019

    Foundation of Graute Lux S.à.r.l in Luxembourg - November 2019 - by Mr. Norbert Höltker. With the establishment of the branch office, the range of products offered by Graute GmbH was expanded to include the winding technology division. Sophisticated winding systems for web materials are now designed and manufactured in-house.

  8. World's first CAC Line

    2021

    Installation and commissioning of the world's first CAC Line in Aschersleben, Germany.
